Cylinder deglazing

So I searched around and haven't found an answer. About how much material does a deglazing hone take off? Is it much more than .001"? I am having the cylinders honed soon and was just wondering if I could stick with stock bore (3.898") pistons.

Deglazing is just taking the "shine" off the cylinder walls, no adjustment to your pistons should be necessary.

Nope, no adjustment, its not enough to worry about.

yup.

i got a clean up hone last winter for my ****...... everything was all good this year. although i put new rings and bearings in while i was in there
