Default camshaft

i am going to be upgrading my valvetrain this winter and i was wondering what is the biggest cam you can run without worrying about interference. i was thinking about running a comp custom grind cam- 231/237 .589/.595(I/E) 112LSA. would i be able to run this without modifiying the bottom end? i would also be upgrading the stock springs to the comp921's with hardened pushrods and new comp roller lifters and 1.7 comp roller rockers.

yes that cam should clear but I would measure it if I were you, there are write ups in the internal section. The T-Rex (Thunder Racing) is supposed to be the biggest cam that will fit, the Vengeance Vindicator, and MS4 (Texas Speed) are all also the "big sticks" for LS1s. If it's a street car you probably don't want a cam that big, the one in your post is medium/big depending on your tolerance levels.

what is the spec on the t-rex? i know its a bigger cam but i wouldn't mind it, i don't drive it too often, only 3,000 miles a year so i think i could tolerate it. if i was just to do the cam swap and a fast 90/90 do you think still having the stock heads would choke that cam?
