Gears

ok i got a trans am from our local "sports car " place and i think it a lil more thann stock how do i tell what gears i have without spending money..

gotta see what rpm u are at x mph. like my WS6 is around 2300 rpm at 78 with 3.23s thru a automatic

RPM vs speed not a lot of difference. My SS is 2,100rpm @ 80mph in 6th gear. Pull the rear cover and count the teeth on both ring & pinion.
