Default Cheap heads vs. AFR225

What is the difference between some cheap heads like prc stage 1.5 or 2.5 vs. something expensive like the AFR's? I think a head upgrade might be a good option for me. I am leaning towards a 150 wet shot on my ls1 which has a torquer v3 cam and full boltons.

How much power difference will there be between the cheap ones and the expesnive ones?

i think the difference between ported stockers and aftermarket is that they are able to design in improvements to the runners and chambers, making better flow without sacrificing runner size.

on stock castings they have to reshape and massage the heads to make them flow. this isnt always condusive to making an ideal head.

basically ....

stock heads are trying to improve something that is less than ideal to start with.
aftermarket is perfecting something that was great from the beginning.
