Default No spark after motor rebuild????

I took the ls1 motor out of my c5 and had it rebuilt. everything is plugged in and I have tried 2 sets of coils. Completely puzzled here. any ideas as to why im not getting spark? my buddy thinks that maybe the crank sensor went bad. How likely is this? I did degrease the motor after it was out. Any thoughts or comments are welcome. Just cant think of anything else to do at the moment other than rely on some of the experts here on ls1tech!

thanks a ton!

If you got everything plugged in correct and nothing loose, it could very well be the crank position sensor.
