Default Should I align hone the mains with ARP studs?

Im in the process of planning out my new turbo setup and I think it would be a good idea to stud the motor. The engine only has 5000 miles on it but Ive always read that you should align hone the mains after installing main studs. Sence this engine is so new is that really necessary? And if so how does this effect the cross bolt location if they cut the caps and then align hone them? Thanks for the info.

I didn't align hone my main ,with ARP studs and all clearances turned out perfect and has around 15000 hard miles on my LS2 418cid. Just plastic gauge all the bearings to make shore your clearances are right

No. actually the engine is still in the car. Im just trying to plan out my attack on this to make it last as long as possable. The engine is an LS6 crate motor with forged rods and pistons (installed by previous owner). Im planning a GT42r turbo with truck manifolds and 317 heads to drop the compression for higher boost levels. Im new to the LSX engines but Ive been around the block a few times. Ill probably be disassembling the car in the next few weeks. Thanks.

So install the studs and check the clearances. If they are off then align bore? Also what about the bearings? The have 5000 miles on them. New ones with the studs or not? Thanks again guys.

Bearings are cheap, buy new ones.
