Default cam bearings

can i put in cam bearings by myself or should the machine shop do that....they only want 30.00 to press them in

$30?? Seriously man, take it to the machine shop if its that cheap. They know what they are doing and im sure have done it many and many times again. A machine shop is who is putting my shortblock together and making sure its balanced and all that good stuff.

i would def let them go ahead and do it unless you are comfortable with doing it yourself

yeah they just "hot tanked" and hoaned the block and sd now is the time while it is there so i was just wondering
