Default file fitting rings

my engine guy just hot tanked and hoaned the block for me.......there is a great fit with the old rings still on the pistons.......should i get a new set that is stock or should i go ahead and let him "file" fit a new set that is oversized.....
next what rings should i go with and where do i buy them for a lq4 block and factory dish pistons

The proper way is to change the rings everytime, is it needed, techically no but with the other rings getting used to the old bore, its considered a insurance. The cost I think was 120 or something like that.

getting all the forced induction parts and the fuel system is kinda expensive......this thing is trying to nickel and dime me.....it's just gettin old.....what size bore is the stock lq4 6.0
