Default Opinions On The Following Cams

Im doing another cam swap and was wondering which cam would make more power and pull harder. PTV clearance is not an issue. This is going in a forged 347 with diamond flat tops and TEA 5.3 heads.
Cams are....

1. Ms3 603 609 237 242 on a 112

2. Comp Cams 608 612 240 244 on a 112

Thanks

I would take the 2nd one. If your going to go big why not go with the biggest.

I don't understand why you would want to do that unless the 240/244 is to big for you. Your not going to make any more power by going to the MS3.

The car pulls like a freight train. But everyone tells me I will benefit more from a smaller cam with my heads.

Well if that's the case I'm just going to be quite because I don't see how that's possible. Unless they're talking about power under that curve. That would make sense. Talk to Patrick he could probably steer you in the right direction. Best of luck.

Oh yeah I hear yah, but cams are all about compromise so give a little to get a little. I personally wouldn't want to run a cam that big in a street car. I would want to stay around the 230 to 236 range. But its all about what you want. But if I was going to chose between the 2 you posted I would take the one you got.

They both are in the same range, in the same combo, graphs might almost overlay. What is your air intake setup like? MAF/TB/Intake?
