I'd like to add either stg1 or stg2 cnc ported LS6 heads or go with some ported stockers in the next 6 months or so. As you can see I've kept my entire car Ca smog legal, and for a reason. Will adding better flowing heads affect my smog in a negative way? I'm not looking to raise compression any by the way...

You should be fine as long as you keep your current cam. The cam is what really affects emissions the most.

Overlap is the key to emissions. Keep your current cam and you should be fine, although I can't help but think a head with better flowing exhaust would flow more contaminants as well, but I could be wrong.

heads only WILL NOT affect emissions.need more proof LPE does a CNC portjob with some touch up by hand and add their cam and emissions actually cleaned up on a low mileage z28.......good head is always a benefit!
