Default question about this cam

I have a 228/228 588/588 on a 112 this is going in a 01 z28 with bolt ons LTs and yank 3500 and 3.23's. would this be a good cam for my set up? and how would the drivablity be, this is a daliy driven car.

thanks for any input.

Yeap, really good cam, driveability is relative to the tune done on it and with 323 gas mileage should be good.
Good street combo

haha i wish.

easy killer this is just my every day car, i know there are cams out there to make alot more power, but to be honest with ya i'm scared of braking the rear again. already been there once with the car not ever seeing the track.

on my income its hard to have 2 street cars, (really one) most of my money is going towards the 240 at the moment. it can seen here, http://www.thedragspot.com/view_vide...6240b2ff0100bd

yeah i thought about that too, but what can i say i got these free. they are a big step up fron 2.73s this was my wifes car, and now she does not even like to drive it anymore.

so what gear do yall think i should use? the car is really only on the hywy a short peroid of time so a gear swap is no biggie.

i'm just wanting a quicker red light ot red light car, nothing big right now. but i do have a few buddies trying to get me to sell the 240 and build up the camaro, but i have to say the old school sb's are a little cheaper to build.

oh and i'm cheap if you haven't caught on.

I have that cam on a 114 and a friend of mine has it on a 112. Really no differance to note in idle, driviblity or shaking.

See sig for a 114 idle and dyno. Not the cam's fault, but I was getting some misfire at 6000 RPMs. The tune in the car is much better now.

It's a good cam. If I were to do it again, Id do the 112 just to bring the power band down 300 to 500 RPMs.
