Default LS1 Stroked???

I have an 01 ss LS1 and i was wonder if i was to stroke it to a 383 what i would have to do with the eletrical system cause i was told i would have to redo the whole thing because there was no way to reprogram the computer to make it run right

Alotta strokers around here and the programmin aint that hard...electrical system? Maybe wiring in a bigger fuel pump, bigger injectors-stuff like that aint that hard either.

Wiring like in the whole car or what or just an engine wiring harness but either way thats a pain in the ***???

replace all the wiring? whoever told you that is an idiot, plain and simple.

You'll need to reprogram the computer, but any number of speed shops will be able to dyno-tune it for you. And yes, it will run fine.

i stroked mine to 386, electrical system is fine......... what fool told you that??

the only thing that would make sense is that you should replace the fuel pump and hotwire it, but other than that all you need is a dyno tune/reprogramming for the increase in displacement
