Default Question about valvetrain

Hi all I just bought a 2000 Trans Am and when I give it gas the valvetrain is real lound like the rocker arms are loose are something. Is that the way they sound from the factory cause I have read threads saying the valvetrain is noisy. Or do the rocker arms need to be adjusted after a certain amount of miles? It currently has 78,000 miles on it.

I agree.

Pop the valvecover off and check it out.

And no there is no adjustment on stock rockers.

You just torque them down to 22 ft/lbs.
