Dart 225cc Valve Drop Anyone running Dart 225cc heads checked valve drop? Some of the threads on this forum indicated that a box stock 225cc Dart has
Intake: .140
Exhaust: .172
I had my 225's flat milled .022 and this is what I came up with:

Valve drop is the distance from the highest point of the valve to the deck surface of the cylinder head. This measurement is used to aid in roughly determining piston to valve clearance. I use Engine Analyzer Pro and this is a very nice measurement to have because the software will display PTV clearances throughout the engine cycle.
To measure it you set the head, deck side down, on a table and measure how far the valve goes before it hits the table.
