Default TREX and .040 Cometics....will it clear?

Stock shortblock......stock heads.....TREX cam.....will I be ok swapping to an .040 head gasket to bump compression or will I have PTV issues?

if you have stock heads/block you should be ok even with stock gasket.

Correct....but I wanna run a thinner gasket than stock.

the .040 will not work. u barely have any clerance the way it is.
