stock 243's
stock 243's well i had posted a while back about doing a cam only setup with a ls6 intake to my 99 FRC with lg 'lt's, intake, ported tb, 180 thermo. i am on a tight budget and have a friend who is selling a set of stock 243's for 500$. two questions while i am getting the other parts installed would it be worth it to install the 243's for this price it will put me a hair over my budget but he tells me it would be worth it. if so how much will it cost to set up the 243's with the valves and retainers needed for a 224/228 113 lsa .590 lift cam. i know most will say port and polish but this is already over my budget so thats out of the question just wanted to know what gain (hp) i will see from the stock 243's with proper equipment for the cam i have. thanks!
