forged internals I'm looking into forging the internal sometime and trying to get an estamate on what my budget needs to be. If i wanted to forge all my internals so that the engine could take about anything i could throw at it (Turbo) what would be a good setup because i don't want to be worring about something breaking everytime i turned the turbo up. I want the engine to last a long time. keep in mind this will also probably be a daily driver
Re: forged internals I just did mine on a very tight budget.
Pistons and rings: 600
Rods : 500
Bearings : 100
Machine Work : 1200
That is the nuts and bolts of it. I also used ARP fasteners on all the critical parts so add a couple more C-notes it you plan on that upgrade.
