piston knock what do i do about this piston knock? I took it up to chevy and they told me that they can put new pistons in there but not garentee any thing. I want a new motor..do you think it will help? and what do i do?

Re: piston knock LS1's are known for piston slap, but I haven't noticed any with my engine. I doesn't hurt anything, so you could just lean to ignore it. If the dealer would be doing it under warenty, why not let them give it a try?
