Default What's the most a 5.3 block be bored out to?

Is it the same block as a 6.0? In which case 4.030 would be a safe bore?

Max bore is 3.910, with a 6.0 crank and 5.7 rods you will get a 5.7L. You can evan put a 4.125 crank in it. I have a 5.3 short block if you want one. $200. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

I got one too, in my 99 Silverado. 107,000 miles on it. I was just wondering what my limit with the motor was. Might not be worth messing with, when I can just step up to a 6.0. It should last a few more years before I have to worry about it. Thanks.
