Default 1.8 rockers worth it??

Im going for the stock/sleeper route... I want to make as much power as possible on a non-header car w/out N2O.

Im thinking about swapping in a set of the new yella terra 1.8 rockers, with some new springs. Wondering though, what kind of performance gains I could expect.

Mods on the car currently are K&N, SLP lid, 85mm MAF, Ported TB, SVO 30#, magnaflow muffler. Car made 340rwhp/360rwtq on the lid and K&N alone, so its a runner for sure.

Thanks for the input!

I would think that you would be better off getting a cam and some valve springs. You could get a smaller cam and have it tuned so that you couldn't notice that you had a cam. JMO

I agree, but a custom sleeper grind is a ways off, and I dont really feel like pulling the front of the motor off and replacing all the parts that are a good idea to replace (timing set, oil-pump, pushrods, etc.)

Just wondering what kind of gains I could look forward to with the addition of only a set of rockers and springs.

Thanks!

Crane 1.8 quick lifts rockers will fit your need, but you must add dual valve springs along with it, or else spring harmonics will come into play after 5700k+. Expect 10+rwhp, 10+rwtq gain,(cars vary) along with quieter valvertrain and lighting fast throttle response.

Note, I believe this thread pre-dates the introduction of the Crane rockers.
