Questions on the Iron Block 6.0

Questions on the Iron Block 6.0 been doing some reading since I saw some of the iron blocks cheap anyways I figure the LQ4 and LQ9 are the 6.0 iron blocks
Besides one being iron and having different pistons in them they are basically the same block as LSx? LS2 parts can go on the bottom end and LS1 heads can bolt up to it?
and yes I searched the stuff i found was vague

what are they usually going for? I found a fully machined one for $600
I imagine LQ4 and LQ9 engines are the same blocks just different head/piston setups?
