Default Comp timing set 3153KT

Looking for information on this timing set, is the bottom gear split so that the sprocket is separate from the oil pump gear? Can't tell from the photo's I have seen.

I would say it is Bob, 95% of all the other Dbl. row stuff out there has the oil sleeve/drive seperate from crank gear.

I guess what I am trying to decipher, on a single row setup, is if the much smaller engagement area with the crankshaft key is going to be an issue.

I've never had an issue with that, I have checked it, but never had a problem.

Curious, have you ever pulled the sprocket off of a single after it has been run? In reality, it appears to be a similar setup to the SBC and BBC that don't have the oil pump on the crank shaft.

Back to the top, does this set have a Torrington bearing on the cam gear, I have seen it advertised both ways and Comps literature states that it does.
