oil in intake manifold????

Default oil in intake manifold????

Ok so i did the egr removal and i peaked inside the ls1 intake manifold to find a litlle bit of a substance in there.... i dont know if its oil.... anyone know what it could be and it was very little? is this bad?

the head is probably cracked some where

The LS1's are known for pulling oil from the PCV into the intake manifold. Easiest solution is a catch can, I got this one from thunder racing (sponsor):

I also did the LS6 valley cover mod. It's more involved, I would just do the catch can if I was you. You can read about it here if you want:

well now that i look at it, it isnt thick enough to be oil..... looks more like water or gasoline??? Anybody have ideas on that?
