yella's on a 98?? worth it?

is it worth putting yella's on a 98 since you have to grind them?or could you get the centerbolt valve covers from 99 up? or would that even work? and just wondering if its worth the trouble?? thanks

Grinding will take about 1 hr. if you have a good aluminuim bit and an air tool. Well worth it.

you cant use 99 valve covers on a 98 head.....You should have to switch the heads then.

you have to change the heads to use the 99 and up center bolt covers.....the 98 heads won't work with them....

Just do the grinding; someone posted a picture a week or so ago that showed exactly where you need to do the grinding.
