Question Help !!

I just fired up my 2003 zo6 rebuilt engine it ran perfect except the 130psi oil pressure. I put the shim on the oil pump spring like the book and this site recomends. I think I am going to drop the pan and pull the shim. What do you guys think?

Is the gauge pegged? It might be a bad oil pressure sender or the harness isn't connected to it.
