Default is a lq4 timing cover the same on any ls engine

i have a lq4 with a cracked timing cover and was wondering if one off a 4.8, 5.3, ls1-2-3-6 would fit on my engine or do i have to get one off a iron block 6.0 lq4 or 9 thanks

The timing covers for the Gen III engines (timing sensor comes from the rear of the cam) are all the same. This includes all 4.8/5.3/5.7/6.0 L displacement engines through about 2004, I believe. The Gen IV engines are similar, but they have the camshaft position sensor added to the front cover.

With the timing cover, if it looks the same as yours, it will work and is probably the same Part Number.
