Upgraded PCV valve?

Upgraded PCV valve? I see thunderracing has a newly designed pcv valve. What is the benefit? Do i need one? Can I get this at the autoparts store?
My ls1 is burning oil after a cam swap. I have a catch can from elite engineering on the way. (btw, will this fit an fbody, i know it is designed for a c5 vette, I got it used.) I am almost positive i can make it work but will it mount out of the box?
I don't have traction control or anything in the area where it usually goes.

Hmm let me know if this works for ya Jon. FYI, my catch can catches oil but motor is still burning quite a bit. If I ever get around to it I'll be having a friend change valve seals because that may be the problem.
