Default SLP 1.85 Rockers, Any good??

I've purchased the 1.85 SLP's for my '00 LS1. I've read several threads on here about other rockers, but not much on the SLP's. Have people had problems with them? Dependability? Noisy? Also, If I'm not planning on doing a cam swap, is this as effective a way to go to increase lift or would I be better in going to a Z06 cam or something similar? I'm only looking to get a little more power for everyday driving without killing economy or drivability. Any info is appreciated.

the 1.85 slps are good . usually you can replace them on the stocker since they are 1.8 and it will increase the amount of lift .

what you can do is take the gross lift of the cam you are wanting to use and multiply it by the rocker size of 1.85 . this gives you the valve lift so you will know what springs to use .

just on the stock cam you can gain around 10 hp over stock .

Is there a noticeable gain with the rockers vs. the stock 1.7's? Would you have rather gone with a cam instead? Thanks.

I'd rather done the cam, but I got the rockers for next to nothing so I went ahead and went this route..

slp got me
back in the day i bought these rockers, from slp iirc they set me back about 700$
they look like and are manufactured by the same company that makes oem ls1 rockers.
for the amount of money they cost, u are better off buying jesel sportsman series 1.8 shaftmount rockers.
no aftermarket rockers for me, its either stock or jesel
