Hey guys -
We are doing a cam swap on my friends '99 TA. On the cam retainer plate, the very top bolt's threads wore out I suppose. When we pulled the bolt out it brought some of the threads with it, so when we tried to put it back in and torque it down, it just kept spinning.
We tried to rethread the whole, but this didn't work. My question is, is it ok to run with 3 bolts? Or do you absolutely need 4 bolts on the cam retainer plate. And if you need 4 bolts, anyone have any suggestions on how to fix the threads?
Thanks,
Andy
