Default Cylinder Head Flow ?????

I have a couple question about cylinder head flow numbers. I am seeing heads flowing in the 300cfm range and I was wandering if anyone has flowed those heads with the manifold and throttle body on it. This is how my cam grinder wants the flow figures. I have done this on a couple carbed engines and we have seen the manifold and carb cut the flow as much as 20%. So does anyone have those numbers? I would like to put a 6.0L into my 71 Nova and I think this is going to be the best choice.

...i have some excel tables with flow numbers for many after-market heads....send me an e-mail if you want them

robertbartsch@kpmg.com

the flow number do go down a bunch with the manifold, TB, MAF, air filter, etc....

However, since every head is impacted the same, the flow numbers in the chart are still a good indicator of the flow characteristics of each head...

Also, I have a spreadsheet

http://users3.ev1.net/~black_ops/hea...s-01-03-03.htm

With all the flow numbers, ls1 and ls6 alos include manifold numbers look in the 4th tab, with and without mainfolds tab...
Should get you close...
