I have a 6.0 LQ4 bolted up to a 2004 GTO T56...

I bought a LS1 starter thinking it would bolt right up and not the case...

Looks like the bottom of the starter where it goes into the tranny hits the tranny case. I dunno, I was told by the guy at O'Reillys that they are different part numbers and im just wanting to make sure im screwed before I go out there and tear stuff up.

 

Nevermind, just found out the bad news, theyre one year only and I got hosed.
