Red face installing MS3, ported heads

do i need 1.8 rockers or will my stock 1.7 work? 01SS, with 39k miles...
LS2 chain
ported LS6 oil p
duel springs
LS2 lifters
install is taking place in 2 weeks.................thanx 4 help

I would at least stick with the stock 1.7 ratio. Most LSx cam grinders do not recomend rocker arm ratios above stock for anything but mild cams in the lower 220s. It shortens valve spring life significantly.

NOOOOOOO!! Don't use 1.8's with a cam with aggressive lobes like that.
