Opinions on Eagle "SIR" Connecting Rods

I am putting together a some what budget motor and was looking into getting these rods. Does anyone have any expirience with them? Also it states that they are good up to 500hp. What would be your opinion on using them in the following motor.

6.0L block, bored .030" over, Diamond pistons, stock crank, TR224, with stock heads for now but will be upgrading to stage 2 later.

Man, I sure hope they're good for 500 hp... stock rods do it all the time (assuming an 18% driveline loss figure, anything over 410 RWHP is above 500 at the crank).

Seriously, though, RPM seems to be more of a rod killer than horsepower, so I'd say that the Eagles should do just fine in the situation you're looking at (since the TR224 isn't one of the cams that really wants to pull to stupid RPM levels).

Well does anyone else have anything to add on these rods. I saw that they are bushed ends for the pins. Will Diamond pistons work with these rods since the they will have floating wrist pins?

For a little more you can get the H-beam rods which are stronger.

I got mine from Dyno Flo for a good price ($469)

If you're not doing nitrous or FI then the SIR rods should be okay.

Are the Diamond pistons designed for pressed in wrist pins or are the floating? Im curious as I want to get the correct rod. Also am I correct with our stock crank rod journals being 2.1" and the big end width being .940". Also with this I should be able to get stock bearing size?
