Default Help!!!

I tried doing a search, but theres so much info out there and so many different opinions, I was hoping to at least get some of it all in one thread!
Ive got a 2000 LS1 that Im wanting to upgrade the valve springs and pushrods in. Im not planning on a cam or any other major upgrades in the near future, but due to a BAD shift Im pretty sure Ive got some bent pushrods and/or weak valve springs. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If your planning on not putting a cam in it then just run some ls6 springs and get a set of chrome moly pushrods. That would be a cheap easy fix. Trick flow pushrods are like 87 bucks for the set of 16. And ls6 springs cant be that much.

Hmmmm that sure seems simple, especially after all the other options that came up doing a search.

It is that simple if your not planning on doing a cam swap, the ls6 spring can handle a little bit higher of a rev and the pushrods are chrome moly with an .080 wall, thats all you need if you just want a better spring and pushrod. This is cheap and easy, trust me your not going to get much better then that combo.

You came here for help & have been offered an excellent solution. The other stuff you are reading relates to push rods, rocker arms, springs, & lifter combinations related to after market cam set ups. The solution to your issue doesn't have to be expensive in order to be good. Just make sure you rotate the engine per the rocker arm tightening sequence as you torque the rocker arm bolts. Good-luck
