Rep says that they are bolt-on w/ no modification to the vc. Called TR and was told they do not recommend anything but 1.7's w/ their cams (TR224). Any experience here? These rockers are supposed to add 15-30 hp due to design. $440 shipped sounds great if they work.
1. i dont think personally they are worth it.
2. i generally dont believe HP claims from reps
3. you feel like .611" of lift? i dont think your springs will
4. not many other people have them. reason behind them? i doubt you will get that kind of power since the stock rockers are very good. also at lower power level you wont feel any difference as we dont turn these motors very tight compared to race motors.
but this is JMHO
if you want more power, lets go with a bad *** set of heads and big wet shot randy!

Thanks for the input! That is probably why TR does not recommend them either. All makes since now. I will just wait till they come out with some 1.7's...non-adjustable. I have heard many times now that the stock rockers are fine. On to other things now, just wanted to put this to rest while I have the motor apart doing a head and exhaust swap. BTW, dry-shot should be fine with this combo...hopefully deep 11's
