Default Adding in LS6 Yellow Valve Springs to an LS1

2001 Corvette Coupe:

I'm seeing some dyno results that point to some "tired" LS1 valve springs. Several people have suggested I drop in some LS6 valve springs and for the price I might as well.

Any thoughts? I've never done anything like this but am not scared to try. Is there a write up anywhere?

Anything else I need to consider. The car will be getting a retune after of course.

Thanks guys!

Swap out the valve seals while you are in there. Also, the best tool is sold by Vinci>>>>>>

This tool will make the swap much easier. Follow the service manual for rocker removal/installation. When you pull the rockers/pushrods, use or make an organizer so they get re-installed in the same location and orientation. Pack the heads with clean rags in case you drop a keeper so it won't go very far especially into the motor.
