Trex and heads

Trex and heads I have been looking to put a trex cam in my 1999 Z28 but the only thing that I am not clear on is what set of heads to use to get the most out of the cam. Any help would be great. I looked at the Ls6 heads but did not look like I would get all I could out of the cam. Thanks.
T rex is more for cam only. It is a great cam that takes advantage of stock heads. Most Trex cam and head combo's dont do so well together from what I seen. Maybe some stock ls6 heads but dont spend the money for good after market heads and expect the same results as like a vindicator cam and trickflows.
If you want a Trex by all means do it. Cam only will lay down some bad *** hp and et at the track. If you are doing heads, check with Geoff on other grinds that will work better. Just call Geoff at thunder , he will steer you right.

Numbers in sig with TREX V2 and Lingenfelter CNC ported 853 heads, 11.4:1 compression. Yes the TREX is designed to work well with stock heads, but that does not mean it is limited to better performance cam only. It also works well with a good set of heads.

So the T-Rex will work with stock heads cause I thought I read somewhere the cam was to big for stock heads. Guess I read that wrong. Now that I know this how does this sound for a set up T-Rex with cam kit from Thunder Racing with dual springs, comp cams "R" lifters and a set of harland sharp 1.7 rockers.
I had PRC Platinum Dual spring kit, and the Comp R lifters. Never had a problem. No experience with Harlan Sharpe Rockers. Rev limiter was set at 7200 and I usually bounced the rev limiter on shifts when racing b/c I suck as a driver!!!

i have been running the t-rex, patriot dual gold springs, comp "R" lifters, and trickflow 7.400 pushrods and rev to 7200 rpm no problems so far. love the setup with my cnc 243.
