which double roller??

There are three here, which one do i need for my car? Cam only bolt on setup. I suppose all three will work, one comes without some kind of bearing, but its more expensive to get it without? I want the adjustable one also. I think i need the last of the double adjustable ones???????

a dual roller is heaver an is over kill. IMO
and you won`t need to space out your oil pump with shims.
like Ryan'sSS said if you ever want/need to run a melling/GM HV pump (blower,oil cooler)

I just cant help but think a single roller is good for mild cam applications but for anything big that chain is going to take a beating. I have and MS4 cam from texas speed with patriot performance xtreme springs good to .660 lift. With that much spring pressure and such a tall cam, I opted to go double roller. Are they overrated, maybe. Will a single row chain handle the cam, maybe. Do double rollers brake? Sure, I've seen them. I just prefer to have more material spinning a tall cam and stiff springs. The double will stretch less than a single over the same time frame simply because it will have another row of links to pull on. (given quality of material of course)
You all can bash that all you want. Its just an opinion and everybody has there preferences. I'm sure some have run bigger and stronger cam and springs on a single and have been fine. Would I? No. Just my .02

Here's the answer. They are all the same, basically. The N-Motion is made for SDPC by JP Performance in Australia. JP Performance also bought Rollmaster, so any of the timing sets are made by JP Performance although the ones currently in stock at TSP may be before the buyout. I "think" JP was making the Rollmaster sprockets for them in any event but am not sure on that. The Torrington bearing that is mentioned will save wear on your cam plate. Until recently, only JP Performance offered the Torrington on a single but other companies are now copying this. This is a very nice feature to have with an aftermarket setup with heavier springs.

I would get the LS2 timing set as well. You don't need the double with a torrington bearing for what you are doing. Plus I would have gone with the LS2 setup if it had been out the first time I cammed my car because the other 4 times afterward were a total beating because you have more crap in the way. Makes you wonder why the C5R motor uses a single doesnt it.....just think about that. You don't want more valvetrain weight if you really don't need it. Not that the heavy chain would make a huge difference. You want a light top end.
Yeah but the C5R motor isn't necessarily built to last either! It has to be reliable yes, but only one race at a time! Its built to squeeze every last ounce of available power out of it and the less weight the engine has to spin the faster it can pull out of those turns. Not to mention I think their single row chains are probably just a wee bit better than anything we could buy, double roller or not!
Just stopped by the Kateck website and they have the chain but no price or picture. Maybe worth looking into?

well, last night i decided to get a coyles chain.(i think thats how you spell it) Its a single roller adjustable. I plan on running the tsp v3 tourqer. With dual valve springs. This chain is sufficient right?
ill be doing a double roller, due to the fact that sudden shock on my valvetrain from a 300 shot will probably be too much for a single roller. If you ever plan on spraying the car or boosting it You should definatly go double chain.
