Thumbs down My Temps keep going Up!!!

Guys awhile ago I was driving my car like normal and I noticed when I was at a light the car was like surging or bucking or looking for idle. I looked at the gauges and noticed the oil pressure gauge fluctuating alot, I never seen it do that. Also the temp gauges was way over 210 degrees, right by the red. After alot of headaches and feeling bumed about my car, It ended up being a fuse. The 10 fuse for the coolant fan. So I thought everything was done and I was never going to see that happend again. WRONG.

It came back weeks after that happend, Same thing, temps went up, oil pressure going up and down. Blown fuse, Got a new one and done. Everything was fine until tonight!!!!

Now im really annoyed about this problem and I hope I can get some help from you guys here. I know there is alot of knowledge in this board so please help a brother out

What do you guys think could be the cause ???
It does have a blown fuse again but there must be something causing the fuse to blow.

Thank for any help guys!

You either have a fan wire shorting out or one of the fans is pulling too many amps. One of the motors may be going bad, causing it to draw too much current.

Im sorry but I mentioned a 25 amp fuse for the cooling motor but its actually a 10.

And I got the same opinion by my dad. He said the motors are going bad....

Can I get Electric fans and keep automatic operation or do I have to run a separate switch for them ? I just want the convinience of not doing anything and the fans coming on when they are supposed to.

Also, How do I test the motors to see if they are going bad ???

Thanks

If you find a compatable electric fan, and wire it up like the OEM was it should operate the same way. The car will not know its a different fan as long as its wired like it should be

Your best bet in this case would be to just get a new fan form GM.

Or measure the fan H/W/D and check summit or jegs for a fan the same sized.
