Default difference between 04 GTO LS1 and 01 02 fbod LS1

Just like the title, is there a difference? I know there is on the 98-00 LS1's and the 01-02's (intake, !egr, chance of an ls6 block etc.) but is there anything new on the 04 LS1? I searched but couldnt find anything

The 04 GTO's all had LS6 style blocks. The 04-up blocks use headbolts that are equal length versus the LS1 which had shorter bolts in the front & rear inner holes.

Depends when the 04 GTO was built. My car has the different-length headbolts.

The LS2 valley cover will not work on the LS1. The '04 GTO cover is a revised LS6 piece with integrated PCV.
