coated bearings?

are they using a ceramic coating on the rod bearings and crank bearings? i saw it in a magazine and i see how it can be usefull, i am trying to build an indistructible shortblock and need all the help i can get

The coatings that we use on our bearing is a proprietary coating developed by Polydyn. We have been using their stuff for years and always had really good luck with it, especially on FI engines! ![Nod](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_nod.gif)
We typically coat the main and rod bearings.
