Default cam bolt kit

do i need to get the cam and cam retainer bolt kit from arp to do a cam swap? these bolts arent tty bolts are they? read something somewhere that is making me wonder...

im getting new cam retainer bolts because on the heads.cam swap we did on my friends ss we broke one of the stockers, although they are re usable...i just think that for $8 a peice it is worth it to replace them.

good idea, i just bought them anyway. Plate bolts and cam bolts. Cant be to careful right?

stock bolts are fine jsut use some loc-tite

Depending on your mileage I would worry more about your retainer plate - it has a built in gasket for the lifter galleys. Surprising that you could break a retainer bolt. The torque specs on those are pretty low.
