Default LT's in now I notice something

I was listening to my car tonight at idle for a few minutes, and I realized that the tic I have at idle is accompanied by a pop out of the exhaust every time it happens. Its not real loud but its definitely noticeable. Could it be a bent pushrod causing a tiny delay in one of the valve events? It never changes its timing so I'm guessing its just one cylinder.

How loud of a tick? I doubt a bent pushrod would cause this. When was the last time the spark plugs were changed?

When I did the LT's, so 3 days ago. Brand new NGK TR55s gapped at .055. Its pretty loud but I don't notice it. Its been doing it since I first bought the car and the 3-4 clutch pack went out on the upshift and caused to to redline, almost to the end of the tach.

Sure you didnt crack one during install, its pretty common for that to happen. Happened to me once.

Just remember LT's allow more drivetrain noise out than the stock mani's. If it sounds like a louder tick its prob ok. Or it may just be a leaky gasket you need to retighten. Make sure everything on the exhaust is good and snug
