Kooks 1 3/4 LT's, cat delete, ls6 intake, underdrive pulley. Injectors. Thats pretty much it.

Yes it was dyno tuned by 12secSS(on ls1tech).
George did a great job, it baselined 414rwhp before the tune with maxed out stock injectors.

"Wow" Thats what I said.

Tune + injectors, the stockers for well over 100% on the baseline run. I changed the injectors with the car on the dyno while the tuner was getting his stuff set up.

Theres a video here of the baseline run. My buddy took it on his cellphone, sorry it's sideways.

Never ran it @ the track after all the work with the tune. Can't risk breaking my daily driver. Didn't stop the head from giving way on me though lol. Figures it broke on my way to work too.

i am debating on the prc ls6 and 5.3s also. but i have the torquer 2 cam on a 112 lsa. i'm not sure what to get yet. i know there is a future plan for a 125 shot. i think i am leaning more towards the 2.5 5.3's. p.s i like to bring back old threads

^ If you're sure that you don't want boost, go for it. 5.3's are good value.

On a TQ2 i'd go with the 5.3 stage 2.5's with the cometic .040 gasket. I really dont believe there is a need to mill and get a smaller gasket. Its either one or the other. That should put you at 11:1 CR and you save money on milling!

Right now I have a TR224 cam and a pair of CNC ported 241s. Best time so far is a 12.43 @116.59 with a mail order tune, spinning hard off the line. I'm going to swap the heads I have now for PRC Stage 2.5 5.3s with a .040 gasket. I figure with a good dyno tune I'll gain 30-40 HP. I was going to swap the cam out, but I think for right now I'm just going to change the heads to see what they'll give me.
