Default price of a cam swap...

I'll be the first to admit that I am a total noob when it comes to engine internals. I have been trying to do some research but I havn't a clue what I'm looking for exactly. Here is my plans for my car. Daily driver, mostly highway. A little track time, maybe 3-4 trips a year. 00 WS6 M6 with headers, catback, intake, ported TB, will be getting a LS6 intake before I do a cam. I won't be doing heads with my cam(maybe some time in the future, but not anytime soon, so you might as well assume I won't be getting heads).

I want it perfectly daily drivable with very little to no lope. I am seeing a lot about the cheater cam or the stealth cam or the 224 cam... Like I said, I'm a noob so I don't have a clue what the difference is.

Besides the price of the actual cam, what else do i need?
-springs
-pushrods
-rockers
-timing chain
-oil pump
-dyno tune(I know, this depends on where I go)

and finally, If I get all this and whatever cam, am I going to be risking my 10 bolt every time I go out driving? (I know people say that the 10 bolt can't even hold stock power, but mine has lasted 100+ miles so far)

A 224 on a 114 LSA will have little to no lope and make the most power out of what you listed. You might want to repace the lifters with that many miles on them, you can pick up a set of new LS7 lifters for around 200 dollars. As long as you don't put stickey tires on you will be fine. Street tires will break loose before the rear will. Other than that your list looks pretty compleat.

yea i say 224 on a 114lsa. the list looks good and i second the rockers. 10bolts are ridiculas. some people run 11's with them and some break at stock applications. there is really no way to tell
