Looking to build an LS 383 and am shopping around for BALANCED rotating assemblies. Want to stay in the 11:1-11.5:1 compression range. I will be running ported 241 castings.

3.905 forged pistons
4'' crank
forged rods (not sure what length is recommended)
ARP rod bolt
ARP main studs
ARP head studs

I want to spin to 8k and pistons to be as close to flush but not inside the bore on TDC. This set up will get a solid roller cam in the 250+ duration on a 108 LSA and haven't decided on lift yet. This will be in front of a Coan 4400-4600 converter on a TH350. Pretty much a pump gas friendly track only set up with a big shot of giggle juice. I am not some rich person and this will be a slow build process. One part at a time, but want everything to work well together.

with a 383 stroker you dont need to spin to 8k to make your peak power... good luck, love my 383
