Cam Swap Decisions As many of you know I am piecing together a Cam swap for my motor,

I have pieced together what seems to me like a good setup for a street/strip DD w/ 150k on the clock.
FMS 230/230 .595/.595 112
CompCam 918 Beehives
Chromemoly Pushrods 7.400"
Patriot Ti retainers
LS6 style intake ( if I can find one )
Oil Pump, tune, timing chain, all the rest of the necessities, etc
The only modifications done to my car, is a complete exhaust system ( LT's , H, dumps ) 3500 stall + lvl2 performabuilt trans, 3.73's. Otherwise my pos is totally stock.
I have read most of the sticky's in order to figure most of this crap out. However, I am not sure of a few things,
1. Will I have to worry about breaking lifters/springs, because of vavletrain weight? I don't think I will, b/c of Ti retainers, but I am just asking
2. I know this is a stupid *** question, but will any retainers work with 918's?
3. Have I overlooked anything? Do I need to change things? Suggestions/Comments? Anything.

Beehive springs use a smaller, different retainer. I don't know if patriot makes any, I know Comp does. The new 918 springs are supposedly good for more lift than the old ones, (was .600, now .625 or something) so you should be ok there. Patriot Duals are a good alternative, they come with titanium retainers. Check out Speed Inc. to look at that route.---->
