got a pretty good deal on a used cam from my buddy. going into my stock motor with bolt-ons. this going to be a good sounding cam?

here is the specs

vinci 099

DUR @ .004" 294* / 302*
DUR @ .050" 232*/ 240*
LIFT .551/.551
OVERLAP 64*
LSA 117*

Too tame in my opinion. You will make more than stock, but I think you will regret not going bigger, esp with a stick shift. Look at what John had, and what he put in....

The costs associated with cam swap are much more than the cam itself. Is the $$$ saved not going big to begin with worth it when you do it again and have to retune??

we shall see..., john made a little under 390 with a bit smaller cam than the one i'm getting.. i don't think thats bad.

Open the valves and let them breathe, and you don't need the big LSA like mrr's NOS motor and my blower set up.......IMO....
