how many miles is too many for heads I got a dd that is 104K miles that still makes 390hp at the wheels. I dyno a lot cause it is free. I want to add tsp 2.5 heads car has a 224 xer now all bolt on and exhaust offroad will it stand head or should I just goahead and get the gm l92 toro
I didn't even crack my motor open till 103k & it still had the original cross hatching in the cylinders. It's all gonna depend on how well taken care of your car is. If its in perfect running shape right now, I'd go for it. I'm at 112k now & haven't had a single issue
my odometer is at about 106,000 and ive got TSP 2.5 5.3's going in next week. if you take care of the car, it should be fine.
