Default thinking about porting my heads

my friend told me today that when i install my cam to give him my stock heads so his dad could port them out for free, should i do it and how much power will it add and will it be better for my cam

does he know what hes doing, its real easy to butcher up a set of heads if you dont know how. all ports and chambers need to be cc verified for size as well as comparible shape. equally important is where you remove material, its not a matter of removing as much as possible but more importantly where you take it from and how it will affect air flow charicteristics. if done right you will gain some power, maybe 10-20rwhp on a very good port job, look into getting them decked also, its a pretty cheap way to gain a lot of power by raising your compression

yea he does it alot and told me he would do it but i just wanted to ask and he could do the deck too but would it still be ok with the torquer v2 cam that i orderd

piston to valve clearence should not be an issue but I dont know any specs for that cam off the top of my head
